Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work City Acrobat Series by Angki Purbandono. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,791.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 48,000.00 – 65,000.00. Other works by Angki Purbandono have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Acrobat Series von Angki Purbandono zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.791,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 48.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert.
