Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
