Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Andro Wekua was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,490.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andro Wekua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 44,689.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Andro Wekua kam im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.490,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andro Wekua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 44.689,94).
