Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andro Wekua could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in July last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work Sea Color changed hands for GBP 252.00 (€ 300.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andro Wekua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 44,689.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andro Wekua konnte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Sea Color für GBP 252,00 (€ 300,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andro Wekua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 44.689,94).
