Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andro Wekua could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work 1St Try, Double Reality, Face, Artificial Parallel Beings, History Striptease, Self-Portrait, Self-Portrait On The Black Sea, Possible People, Workshop Report, Which Picture Of Him Is It, Chewed-Up Gum changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,636.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andro Wekua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 44,689.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit 1St Try, Double Reality, Face, Artificial Parallel Beings, History Striptease, Self-Portrait, Self-Portrait On The Black Sea, Possible People, Workshop Report, Which Picture Of Him Is It, Chewed-Up Gum für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.636,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andro Wekua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Workshop Report (Full Portfolio) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 44.689,94).
