Upper estimate price exceeded by 35 %.
The work A gentleman in brown coat by Andrew Plimer was sold in the Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live auction at Christies in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,893.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Plimer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A lady called Lady Whitbread, facing left in buff-coloured dress with white underslip, pearl armlet, holding a garland of leaves flowing from her dark curling hair in her right hand in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,479.72).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A lady called Lady Whitbread, facing left in buff-coloured dress with white underslip, pearl armlet, holding a garland of leaves flowing from her dark curling hair in her right hand im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.850,00 (€ 41.479,72).
