Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work 2293.; 1915.; 2128.; 2156. Four Works by Andrew Masullo for USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,929.38). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Andrew Masullo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1847; 1851; 1855; 1880; 2173 [Five Works|AID700456] in May last year with an auction result of USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,831.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 2293.; 1915.; 2128.; 2156. Four Works von Andrew Masullo für USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.929,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Masullo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1847; 1851; 1855; 1880; 2173 [Five Works|AID700456] im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 25.831,70).
