Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 5030 by Andrew Masullo was sold in the First Open/ NYC auction at Christies in New York in July 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,334.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Masullo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1847; 1851; 1855; 1880; 2173 [Five Works|AID700456], which sold at auction in May last year for USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,831.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 5030 von Andrew Masullo wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion First Open/ NYC bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.334,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Masullo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1847; 1851; 1855; 1880; 2173 [Five Works|AID700456] beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 27.720,00 (€ 25.831,70) versteigert wurde.
