Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples Day Sale, which included the work Rules Of Raugh by Andrea Zittel. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,695.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Zittel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Free Running Rhythms and Patterns Version II. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 141,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rules Of Raugh von Andrea Zittel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.695,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Zittel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Free Running Rhythms and Patterns Version II. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 141.900,00.
