This price was achieved in the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Schiavone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ecce Homo in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 169,025.51).
