Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Madonna And Child by Andrea Schiavone was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,594.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Schiavone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ecce Homo in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 169,025.51).

Die Arbeit Madonna And Child von Andrea Schiavone kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.594,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Schiavone erzielen.
