Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Clearing One's Head by Allison Zuckerman was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 75,600.00 (€ 73,234.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allison Zuckerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woodland Muse, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 216,412.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Clearing One's Head von Allison Zuckerman wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 73.234,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Allison Zuckerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woodland Muse beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 216.412,74) versteigert wurde.
