Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Allison Zuckerman could be acquired at Christies in New York in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work By the Lake changed hands for USD 50,400.00 (€ 46,357.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allison Zuckerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woodland Muse in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 216,412.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Allison Zuckerman konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wechselte die Arbeit By the Lake für USD 50.400,00 (€ 46.357,62) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allison Zuckerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woodland Muse im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 216.412,74).
