Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Lady in Waiting by Allison Zuckerman for HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,722.62). This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Art Sale at Christies in Shanghai and was even below the estimate range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allison Zuckerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woodland Muse in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 216,412.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lady in Waiting von Allison Zuckerman für HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.722,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Sale bei Christies in Shanghai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allison Zuckerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woodland Muse im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 216.412,74).
