Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Waving Goodbye on a Warm and Sunny Day by Allison Zuckerman for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 30,204.99). This price was achieved in the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 280,000.00 – 480,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Allison Zuckerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woodland Muse in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 216,412.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Waving Goodbye on a Warm and Sunny Day von Allison Zuckerman für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 30.204,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 280.000,00 – 480.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allison Zuckerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woodland Muse im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 216.412,74).
