Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Stehli's Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Allison Katz. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,510.86). Admittedly, works by Allison Katz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cellophane Bouquet IV in June this year with an auction result of GBP 59,220.00 (€ 68,921.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stehli's Gentlemen Prefer Blondes von Allison Katz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.510,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allison Katz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cellophane Bouquet IV im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 59.220,00 (€ 68.921,88).
