This artwork by Allison Katz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Brussels in October this year. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Shower's Head sold for GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,915.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allison Katz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cellophane Bouquet IV in June this year with an auction result of GBP 59,220.00 (€ 68,921.88).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Allison Katz erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Shower's Head für GBP 13.860,00 (€ 15.915,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allison Katz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cellophane Bouquet IV im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 59.220,00 (€ 68.921,88).
