Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lover's Clock Plate by Allison Katz was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,428.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allison Katz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cellophane Bouquet IV in June this year with an auction result of GBP 59,220.00 (€ 68,921.88).

Die Arbeit Lover's Clock Plate von Allison Katz kam im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.428,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allison Katz erzielen.
