In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Thirty Plaster Surrogates No. 5 sold for USD 107,100.00 (€ 109,475.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Allan McCollum; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Collection of One Hundred and Ninety-two Plaster Surrogates sold at auction in September this year with the realized price of USD 226,800.00 (€ 214,285.71).
