This artwork by Allan D'Arcangelo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. In the Contemporary Art | New York auction, the work Landscape sold for USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,491.96) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | New York wurde die Arbeit Landscape für USD 27.720,00 (€ 24.491,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
