Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alicia Penalba achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June this year. In the Limited Editions and Artists' Jewellery auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 2,816.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alicia Penalba achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ventisquero in March this year with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 98,509.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alicia Penalba erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Editions and Artists' Jewellery wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 2.816,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alicia Penalba erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ventisquero im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 98.509,93).
