Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alice Neel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dr. Finger’S Waiting Room sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of USD 3,030,000.00 (€ 2,484,828.60).
