Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte À La Tasse by Alfred Reth was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 35,174.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alfred Reth have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2006 the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 was auctioned for EUR 43,163.00.

Die Arbeit Nature Morte À La Tasse von Alfred Reth kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 35.174,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alfred Reth konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2006 die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 für EUR 43.163,00 versteigert.
