In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work A busy venetian waterway by Alfred Pollentine. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,493.39), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Pollentine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Santa Maria della Salute; and The Doge's Palace, Venice, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,968.90).

Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A busy venetian waterway von Alfred Pollentine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.493,39) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Pollentine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Santa Maria della Salute; and The Doge's Palace, Venice beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für GBP 8.812,50 (€ 13.968,90) versteigert wurde.
