Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,142.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Pollentine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Santa Maria della Salute; and The Doge's Palace, Venice in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,968.90).
