Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Reciprocal Relation, Unity 72 by Alfred Jensen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,789.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heaven; Per I and II in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 477,750.00 (€ 352,973.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Reciprocal Relation, Unity 72 von Alfred Jensen kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.789,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Jensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heaven; Per I and II im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 477.750,00 (€ 352.973,77).
