Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art Online, which included the work Horse drawn sledge in winter landscape by Alexis de Leeuw. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 640.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis de Leeuw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter scene in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 6,110.00 (€ 9,722.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horse drawn sledge in winter landscape von Alexis de Leeuw zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 640,00 (€ 640,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis de Leeuw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter scene im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.110,00 (€ 9.722,93).
