Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A frosty forest with a shepherd and his flock by Alexis de Leeuw. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,875.00. Other works by Alexis de Leeuw have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 6,110.00 (€ 9,722.93) in November 2001 for the work Winter scene.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A frosty forest with a shepherd and his flock von Alexis de Leeuw zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.875,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alexis de Leeuw haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.110,00 (€ 9.722,93) im November 2001 für die Arbeit Winter scene beobachtet.
