Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alexis Akrithakis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. In the Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes auction, the work Untitled | Sans titre sold for EUR 3,024.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Akrithakis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexis Akrithakis erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes wurde die Arbeit Untitled | Sans titre für EUR 3.024,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06).
