Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trois îles inhabitées by Alexis Akrithakis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 55,815.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Alexis Akrithakis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trois îles inhabitées von Alexis Akrithakis wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 55.815,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06) versteigert.
