The work Trilogie de la valise by Alexis Akrithakis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 48,255.00 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alexis Akrithakis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 48.255,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alexis Akrithakis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06).
