Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, Tsiki Tsiki by Alexis Akrithakis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 23,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Akrithakis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, Tsiki Tsiki von Alexis Akrithakis kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 23.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06) versteigert wurde.
