The work Deux Vélos by Alexis Akrithakis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. It achieved a price of EUR 32,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Akrithakis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deux Vélos von Alexis Akrithakis kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 32.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06) versteigert wurde.
