Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stilleben (Rosenbäumchen) by Alexej von Jawlensky was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,261.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexej von Jawlensky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,428,500.00 (€ 12,332,107.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stilleben (Rosenbäumchen) von Alexej von Jawlensky kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.261,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexej von Jawlensky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.428.500,00 (€ 12.332.107,99).
