Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018, which included the work The weight of emptiness by Alexandre Arrechea. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,271.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Arrechea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 durch, in der auch die Arbeit The weight of emptiness von Alexandre Arrechea zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.271,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
