Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perth From Scone Park by Alexander Nasmyth was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,513.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Nasmyth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Dreghorn Castle, Midlothian, with figures and a hay cart in the foreground in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 106,178.24).

Die Arbeit Perth From Scone Park von Alexander Nasmyth kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.513,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
