Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Nasmyth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Dreghorn Castle, Midlothian, with figures and a hay cart in the foreground in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 106,178.24).
