Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work View Of The Bund, Shanghai by Aleksandr Gerasimov for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,837.24). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View Of The Bund, Shanghai von Aleksandr Gerasimov für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.837,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Roses im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
