Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Flowers by Aleksandr Gerasimov was sold in the Art of the Soviet Union auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 350,760.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Still Life With Roses was auctioned for GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
