Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artist'S Studio In Moscow by Aleksandr Gerasimov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,978.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Artist'S Studio In Moscow von Aleksandr Gerasimov kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.978,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Roses im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
