Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Apple Tree In Bloom by Aleksandr Gerasimov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 156,250.00 (€ 176,245.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Roses, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Apple Tree In Bloom von Aleksandr Gerasimov kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 156.250,00 (€ 176.245,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Roses beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61) versteigert wurde.
