Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Still Life With Roses And Mirror by Aleksandr Gerasimov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 96,366.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aleksandr Gerasimov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Roses And Mirror von Aleksandr Gerasimov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 96.366,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Roses im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
