In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work View Of Moscow, Near Mossovet by Aleksandr Gerasimov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 92,500.00 (€ 107,964.07), 54% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aleksandr Gerasimov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).

Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of Moscow, Near Mossovet von Aleksandr Gerasimov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 107.964,07) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Roses im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
