Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tresco, Isles Of Scilly by Alexander MacKenzie was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,687.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander MacKenzie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting (Gwithian) Aug 57- in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,552.54).

Die Arbeit Tresco, Isles Of Scilly von Alexander MacKenzie wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.687,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander MacKenzie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting (Gwithian) Aug 57- im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.552,54).
