Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Cozens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bay At Dusk in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 108,000.00 (€ 160,062.82).

Die Arbeit A coastal landscape with a tower, a sail on the horizon von Alexander Cozens kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.862,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Cozens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Bay At Dusk im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.000,00 (€ 160.062,82).
