The work Two landscape studies by Alexander Cozens was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2010. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,023.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Cozens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bay At Dusk in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 108,000.00 (€ 160,062.82).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Two landscape studies von Alexander Cozens kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.023,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Cozens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Bay At Dusk im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.000,00 (€ 160.062,82).
