In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints auction, the work Footpads in a forest sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,044.76) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Cozens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Bay At Dusk, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 108,000.00 (€ 160,062.82).

In der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints wurde die Arbeit Footpads in a forest für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.044,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Cozens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Bay At Dusk beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 108.000,00 (€ 160.062,82) versteigert wurde.
