Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alecos Fassianos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June this year. In the 20th Century to Now auction, the work Man with Kite sold for GBP 15,240.00 (€ 17,736.74) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alecos Fassianos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek the Return in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alecos Fassianos erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century to Now wurde die Arbeit Man with Kite für GBP 15.240,00 (€ 17.736,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alecos Fassianos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek the Return im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
