The work The Big Brain Freeze 2 by Albert Willem was worth GBP 190,500.00 (€ 216,730.55) to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Albert Willem; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot All In All Not Bad For His First Attempt sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of GBP 228,600.00 (€ 266,051.04).
