This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Willem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work All In All Not Bad For His First Attempt, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 228,600.00 (€ 266,051.04).
